I have been animating for nearly 20 years now. I’m Danish and grew up on a dairy farm in Jutland Denmark. I originally trained as a chef and worked at restaurants in Denmark and France.
But there has always been a little animator inside me and one day I took a chance and applied to The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark. This turned out to be, in my opinion, one of the best animation schools in the world; there were lots of talented animators, both teachers and students, and so began my second career.
Since then, I’ve worked on TV shows, Ads and Feature Films and I’ve met some extraordinary people. Throughout it all my real enjoyment comes from the process of animating, of taking a still object and giving it life. I enjoy the performance, being the offscreen actor, bringing the words and action from the script to life. I have been lucky enough to work on some amazing films that have been seen by lots of people around the world. And I'll keep doing it until my knees give in. Then I think I’ll make cheese.
